Victoria 60th medal/token/coin

I received a small joblot of coins today and found this coin, after hours of searching the internet I have found 1 site which valued it at $95 but they claim theirs is silver where as this one looks like brass.

I cant seem to find it anywhere, plenty of other versions but not this one.

coin reads - "in commemoration of the 60th year of queen Victoria's glorious reign" and the other side reads "H.M. Victoria queen and empress"

It is dated 1897.

it is very rare I get stumped with any online research, any ideas?

In the UK everyone can make commemorative object about the royals.
So it can be made by anyone who wants to make a profit.

Yours is rather damaged and looks brass?

yeah, it does seem to be brass and is a little beat up, it is still strange that only one result online comes up and it is silver, I would expect at least a couple of results about this version.

I know it will be of little value, it is the fact there is no reference to it anywhere that has made me more determined to find info on it, but Like you say, here in the uk anyone could make a coin like this.

Perhaps in old books on brittish token.
