Chinese coin

This is my first ancient chinese coin. Does anyone know if it is real or fake? I think it's fake. I have never seen a coin shaped like it. If it's real I think it's from Qianlong Boo-yuun 1736-1794. If it's real, what is it's approximate value and why is it shaped like this? Any information would be appreciated and helpful.

Looks real to me, maybe someone trimmed it this way.

From the looks of the material it seems legit, the quality  is a bit lacking and the modification, it could be that it was used in jewelry.
But for it to be ancient ... nah ... for that it's about a dozen centuries to young
