Old Thaler 1780 Coin (M. Theresi)

Heya,

I just wondered if you could help with this, Ive enclosed a couple of pictures, bit of a crap camera on the android so I apologise.
Its not bent or boated in the middle, just the way the camera makes it look, its completely flat.
So yea, this coin was picked up today for 5 Euros, I read up about it, Silver, they were struck up until 1975 or such, its  a trade coin to commemorate her death.
Im not sure if its a restrike or a very old one but whats concerning me is the writing seems to be snipped off, as u can see theres like a millimetre missing off the end.
I measured the coin, its 38 millimetres and it weights approx 18/19g, I couldnt get an exact weight as its my wifes electronic baking scaled haha, but it hangs around 18-19g (it keeps flicking between the 2)
The design is very defined, the crowns, shields and such look very detailed/solid and not crude like ud expect on a fake, again its just the writing Im concerned about.
I read its supposed to be 39 mm and mines 38, so the missing 1mm would explain the cut off writing, does this add value? was it a coin that was never meant to be released? is it fake? lol

Any help would be amazing

Ty in advance

Sorry, should also say its teethed on the edges and they are defined, so that would rule out that the 1/2 or 1 mm that is missing on the end is through being worn down.

I am 100% certain you have a fake. Sorry.
Citeer: jimpopI am 100% certain you have a fake. Sorry.
No worries, ty for replying :)
Just wondering tho, what gives it away as a fake? The metal feels like, u know the old 10p/50p from UK circulation, like that, I would expect the details to be very crude but they are very defined.
It is also starting to get a coppery type colour to parts, mainly around the letters, in the indentations of the design, what metal would it be and what are the pointers to it being fake? (for future reference)
I found a link

That first coin is exactly what mine looks like, is it fake then? I just want to be certain before I bin it
It can be a coin that has lost some silver of the edge.
Perhaps you can ask a jeweler if it is silver.
And if it is fake, I would not bin it.
Some collectioners do like these things
Non est totum quod splendet ut aurum
Rijkdom bestaat niet uit het hebben van veel bezittingen, maar in het hebben van weinig behoeften
The reeded edge is wrong, there should be writing around it . It should be 41mm, it should weigh 28 grammes. It's fake.
