it's a Saxony coin, no doubt, but I have not found it on the web, but here is a presentation of your friends coin, with a Wikipedia history insert.



Maybe somebody else can find the denomination, it's for sure in the numista catalog!

Can you tell the alloy, weight and diameter? It could be a so called Albertine!
