The first I would have assumed to be a date, though neither N nor D are Roman Numerals. I'm not sure what it means, considering there are no vowels in it I'd be surprised they were words.

D is, actually. 500.
DVX is the Latin spelling for "DUX", which is the Latin word for "DUKE".
