Can anyone please help to identify a badly worn coin with some cyrillics? Images are provided below, taken from two angles to improve legibility. The coin is circular, 19mm in diameter, 1.2mm thick, there seems to be a "2" with a possible star over it on the reverse, together with some branches along the edges, crossed underneath the "2". The obverse is very difficult to read...
Many thanks in advance for any help :)
Why bother? There is no numismatic value nor monetary value (other than melt value) at this point. Even if you can identify it and it still has some monetary value (namely it is a current issued coin), doubt anyone will want to take it...
Spend the time elsewhere, that is more worthwhile for other collectors
