Montenegro Token (Znamenite Licnosti Crne Gore)

9 berichten
A friend of mine got me a couple of coins back from his trip to Montenegro, one of which turned out to be a token which I can't seem to find here on Numista.

It is very similar to this token which is on the catalog here, but it has a different person on the observe.

So what should I do? Is it possible to add the one I have to the catalog somehow?

Also, while we're on the topic, I've been wondering about what counts as a token and which coins are merely just for novelty?
There are a lot of tokens from that edition that aren't here

Of course, if you didn't find your token/coin you can add it yourself.

Thanks for the reply MihajloNesic , you're right that most of these coins are not here.

I've added the one I have personally and now waiting for it to be approved and published on Numista and then it'll be viewable here.
I'm the referee for Montenegro. I rejected this because THIS IS A TOKEN not a coin. It should be placed in *Token* (Montenegro) part of catalog.

You're absolutely right, it IS a token, even mentioned that in my original post. I just never added coins to the catalog before so please excuse my mistake. I have corrected it now.

However, I can't seem to get it to say ( *Tokens* Montenegro [ ] ) like in this one where only the *Tokens* is highlighed, because in mine the entire thing ( *Tokens* Montenegro [?] ) is highlighted and the flag has a question mark instead of being blank. Why is that?
The way you have written it you made a new "country": *Tokens* Montenegro
The othe token has the Issuing authority: *Tokens* with the currency: *Tokens* - Montenegro
So you have to change the Issuing authority and currency on your entry.
Thank you Idolenz, that worked perfectly, it's how it's suppose to be now.

Honestly, it wasn't clear at all on the first try. =p
Good to hear :wiz:
For the future ... just look at the coin sheets if you want to emulate something (I mean click on: Modify or add information about this coin) so you can see how it is written ... that's the way I have used to solve it ;)
