Austria has been sub divided!!!

Hi,

today I wanted to find a 20 heller coin from 1917 under Austria with the km2826, but I got NO RESULT!:x

No, Sir, somebody has decided to make it complicated, you have to search under Austria - Habsburg:8D

I'll try to stay calm, but PLEASE explain to me what the benefits of this change might be?X-D

I only see unnessesary extra manipulations, and that's NOT a benefit at all!!!:snif:

Changes for the worse are not welcome, even if SCWC calls that period "Austro-Hungarian Empire", you still find it straight away, when you search for Austria and give the km# in Numismaster, so please change it back again, please, please, please;(

Hi Ole, there has been a lot of discussion across a wide range of different threads but you can get the idea of why it was done and why there is opposition to the change here.

I personally prefer to see countries unified wherever possible but there was a very well made case for the change. I really don't mind the change, I don't collect Austrian coins, but I don't like the way it was done without any form of consultation with those who do.
Non illegitimis carborundum est.  Excellent advice for all coins.

Hi Ole,

Could you make a nice variant sheet about this coin please ?

I am getting overwhelmed ... :O

Joking, I love your work and will include it in all ... Austrian sheets if you want.

Cheers, André
