When a change request is rejected, shouldn't there be an reason given by the referee or whoever makes the changes?
I submitted a request to have a Hong Kong 10 cent coin that is missing from the catalog, KM#28 with the date and mint mark of 1958-H added but it was rejected without explanation. I resubmitted the request in hopes of finding out what was wrong.
Normally, a referee has to give a reason to reject a request. It is even written on the form.
So when you get a rejection with no reason, it is an ... incorrect answer.
Maybe write directly to the referee ? If there is none, forum post is fine, but with details.

André

Citeer: "SRV5490"Hi Andre,
Thank you for the advice. I actually did write directly to the referee and sent a second one asking for a reason.
Take care,
Rick
My change request has now been deleted and no reason was given. I submitted a request to have a Hong Kong 10 cent coin that is missing from the catalog, KM#28 with the date and mint mark of 1958-H added, but it was rejected without explanation. I resubmitted the request in hopes of finding out what was wrong.
Here are pictures of the coin that I submitted for verification for entry into the catalog. The H mint mark follows the 'S' in CENTS. Can someone please add this year (1958) and mint mark.
The Hong Kong 10 cents 1958H is in the Krause catalog too (Krause 2015, 42th edition), although it wasn't there yet in previous editions (1984, 1999, 2006):
@SRV5490: If you have the coin yourself, maybe you can send a picture/scan as proof of its existence and to show the rejection was fault.
