Since ideas on adding a proper external API to Numista seem to be completely dead, I've got another request.

Is it possible to make an "Export to XML" feature? Should be relatively easy.
I'd like to have it since Excel export is totally not machine-parseable.

I can even help with the implementation, if needed, or I can propose an exact an XML schema.

CSV would work as well. Anything machine-readable for that matter.

Also, current excel export is unusable when local characters appears in coin titles.

One more thing is that it takes lots of time/clicks to understand whether you have a particular coin type of not.
For example, I see "Argentina 10 Centavos 1930" coin and would like to check whether I have this type.
In the excel file I only have "KM# 35 / 10 Centavos / 1926" so I need to open a particular coin page and check corresponding years. Time wasted, especially when you are checking against a long list.

So, another suggestion to this export list is to have an additional field like "period". For this particular 10 Centavos it is "1896-1942" so one can immediately understand that 1930 is the same KM#35 as 1926.

I offered a workaround for that in another thread, which you may find helpful: https://en.numista.com/forum/topic46106.html

Cavaler,
In fact, the collection list is already being exported in a structured format via https://en.numista.com/vous/vos_pieces.php?page=X pages.
All you need to do is to simulate a login, then read several dozens of pages, then parse them to remove all extra-stuff.
I wish I could sort my coins by attribute, like weight and diameter.
Hello,
Export to CSV has been available for some time already. I guess it fits the need for machine parsing.
