Mine would be off the top of my head. A guy at work gave me a UK 2 pound coin. KM#1061 2006 Paddington station. But his biggest question was, where is the country of Brunel was. Well I told him it was from the UK. And then he let me have it for 2 dollars. He was happy.
Hey Frenchlover, hope you and family are well.
That is as bad as when me and my late wife first got together, I had 4 silver Washington quarters on the desk. The next day I went to put up. And there was only one left. I asked if she know where they were. Her reply was I needed 75 cents more for the dryer.
I used to work at a local tourist attraction. Australian 1 and 2 dollar coins are the opposite way around from us. New Zealand's $1 coin is smaller than the $2 coin, but Australia's $2 coin is smaller than the $1 coin. You may be aware of this, but Australian tourists didn't seem to think that I knew this. Every single Aussie tourist that bought something from the gift show would say "Do you know your $1 and $2 coins are the other way round to ours" After a couple of hundred Aussies pointed this out to me, I really started to feel like throttling them and stuffing $1 and $2 coins down their throats.
