Iran - 250 rials - #1270 or #1270a? [opgelost]

Can anybody help me to identify both below coins of 250 rials?




In my opinion left side is 1270a and right side is 1270 but not 100% sure
Both weights are the same (2.8g)
Diameter measured for left coin is 18.7 mm, for right one 18.6 mm
Is there any other method to find a difference between this copper-nickel and brass type coin?

the first coin "1387" is with large nominal

so it means its #1270? #1270a from 1387 has only small nominals as per numista website

They are both KM# 1270a. Brass coins are always yellow(ish), copper-nickel coins aren't.
