I have been sorting through a set of bulk coins I purchase recently. During my search, I believe I have found a few dates of the cent and 5 cent that are not in the catalog. When looking on NGC, I can find the dates. KM87a should have dates 1987 and 1990. KM88a should have 1990 from the coins I have.

Please let me know if there is anything that I can provide that will help with adding these dates.

I think you make a mistake somewhere. NGC gives for the KM87a only 1992 and 1996, just like in Krause and in the Numista catalog:

And just the same for the 5 cent coin. NGC gives for the KM88a also only 1992 and 1996, just like in Krause and in the Numista catalog:

Is it magnetic? Then it is KM# 88a. But I'm pretty sure it isn't magnetic, so it is KM# 88.

When you click on the link and then on the right type, you see again that the 1990 is KM# 87 or KM# 88 and NOT KM# 87a or KM# 88a:

Why are you so determined your coins should be KM# 87a and KM# 88a?

I'm sorry for my request. When I was searching for the 5 cent Cayman Islands coin from 1990 yesterday, I couldn't find it. I would get a no coin meets your query. Even after your earlier notes, I still couldn't find what you did.

This morning, I did find the coin and know where I went wrong. I didn't get the "s" on Islands.

I was only wondering why you were so sure it had to be KM# 87a and KM# 88a because every link (Numista, NGC, Gcoins.net, Krause) pointed at KM# 87 and KM# 88.
