Removing scratches

I recently bought a Proof coin.
The plastic casing that it is in, has got a lot of surface scratches.
Is there any way I can get rid of the scratches.

Yes there is!

Oh, do you want me to tell you how?

Take some metal polish and cotton wool, and gently polish the plastic. Don't use an automatic buffer or you can get friction burns in the plastic. Just use quality metal polish (I like Peek, it's great for coins too) and cotton wool.

Thanks Matt.
I will give it a try.
It even works on spectacles lol
You might use turpentine. The only consequence is, that the plastic from the capsule will become dull.

I would just find a new coin capsule.
I have a crown-sized one if any good ?
