Hi today I've founded a new 1 pound type I know that in 1997 there should be 3 lions but my one is different... I tried to find the information about this type but after all day I couldn't find anything. Please help me with that i don't know if I've founded a new type or it is one of many others. I also would like to know what could be a value of this coin.
Hello and welcome to the site. We are told that there are millions of fake pound coins in circulation at any given time and yours is almost certainly a fake but please feel free to search the forum for "fake pound coin" and you will find many other posts on the subject.
Just because you can't see it ... doesn't mean it isn't there - Anon.
Its a fake and a mule.
The reverse is a 1995/2000 issue, matched with the 1997 3 lions obverse.
Just look at the coin, its clearly a fake.
The edge motto is also a big giveaway as it is often very poorly executed.
I deny nothing but doubt everything, opinions are made to be changed, how else is the truth to be gotten at.
Yet another crazy UK fake pound, I had this one a while ago. The forgers seem to mix up the obverse, reverse, and edge. I guess it depends on which dies they have available. https://en.numista.com/forum/topic42487.html

I'm not an expert in any kind of coins, but I reckon I'm good at research and will do my best to help. Feel free to tell me my identifications/valuations/gradings are wrong. It's the only way I'll learn.
