I pressed the wrong request button yesterday, and the exchange is now listed as 'denied', but I would like this swap to continue. Can the error be reversed or do I have to start again?
One of my swap partners did the same thing accidently. The good news is he could reverse his error so we didn't have to start all over again. The bad news is I don't know how he did it.
There are different cases of this I think. If one of the swappers just declines a swap it is basically dead. But if one swapper confirms his/her offer and the other declines this offer than the swap goes back into negotiation stage and is not dead. This is from my personal experience. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
Yes, in my case it was also something about the confirmation. One confirmation was already made but there was still one coin that had to be changed. So the confirmation was declined and the status of the swap became "denied". But we only had to change that one coin to finish the swap in stead of starting all over again.
