Help grading a 1927 D Standing Liberty. I'm thinking fine or VG [opgelost]

I find these standing Liberty's hard to grade in lower grades because they wear easily.

I'm no expert, but I would grade it VG...Don't think it makes Fine.

I wouldn't grade it higher than VG as well.

I would say VG as well. The grading standards in the Red Book and elsewhere online say that in order to make Fine, you should be able to see a well-defined fabric line across the top of her right leg, and also a bit of cleavage. I don't really see either of those in the pictures of your coin.

Going by that, yours might sneak in as F

But aren't the American grades shifted by one ... so it can have a Sheldon 12 [F] but it would be a descriptive VG (Europe/Numista)?

I find US coins in general to be amongst the most difficult to grade so it's very reassuring to find that my guess of VG is in line with everyone else's.
