I've been searching for a matching picture for this coin for some time with no success. Its impossible to read anything on it. There is a 'cross of Christ' (not a cross of Malta) in one side and on the opposite face there are laurels. Someone could help identify this coin?

is it lead?
Can I read EGLISE ?

Its heavy but I think its not lead. Its not atracted by magnets, I tested. Ive been looking again and found there are six letters on the first line of the laurels side. Looks like 'EMELISI' , but can be anything like that.
ENGLESI ?

Perhaps you can find the cross with google:

At 10o'clock, could that be a date? (1656)

I found some possible matching kinds of crosses: 'formée' , 'pattée', Iron Cross and even some crusaders crosses. But none with that internal pattern of paralel lines with an internal greek cross .
Here we can read something like enelisi/englisi/ehglisi/etc.

Here we can read above oleg/olfg. Next we can se an letter O or Q.

There are the letters NI at the 2 oclock.

I do not know the origin of the coin but I can guarantee it is not Portuguese.
The out cross is similar to the Military Order of Christ. However there is a inner single cross and the combination does not exists in the Portuguese coins.
It looks like a modern coinage, perhaps a medal, and heavy hammered.

Perhaps not the 'Military order of Christ' but 'Supreme Order of Christ'

In several languages 'engelsi' has several meanings.

It could be the centerpiece of a medal of some kind.

And maybe its written 'english' on its first line of the laurels side. Maybe.
Latin :
en celsi ominas ... Jesus

Its very possible that its a medal or part of one.

'en celsi' doesnt exists in latin, according Google translator. Would be 'excelsi' ?

I found a monastery in Portugal which have crosses like this one: with an inner straight cross , therefore it can be portuguese.

At first I thought that the arms of the cross were curvy , but now I think they are geometric like one maltese cross . The cross is just deformed, but its made with straight lines , not curves .
I HAVE FOUND A SIMILAR ONE, FROM PORTUGAL/PORTO AND IT IS A TOKEN (~1920).
