I have noticed this problem a while ago, but it starting to get kind of annoying. When I insert a number into a selected coin that I want to add to my coins and then pressing the back button, there is no check mark that indicates that I own this coin. Only after refreshing the page, the check mark appears. Is it just me or is it a glitch?
It is not a website glitch, it is simply the exact function of your browsers' "back" button. It takes you back to the page before you entered the coin so should not show the checkmark at that time. Start moving forward again and it will then show up.

It did show the check mark after going back to the previous page a month or two ago.
Must have been this way when I started entering coins already. This has been the normal experience for me, and also seemed logical since you are going back to the page before you entered any info by using the back button.
It is a bit hard to miss something I have never experienced.
It is normal, the browser is simply loading the previous page from the browsers cache, it is not reloading the page. After you click "Back", press "F5" to refresh the screen and you will see the check mark.
