Years 1878, 1879 and 1881 were minted in Vienna, but without mintmark.
1873 A was minted between 1871-1873.
1881 was minted between 1881-1883.

Without the Vienna mark

Money Trend published in Vienna states that 1873 Kreuzer coins without A mint mark were not struck. All existing pieces are fakes made from 1878 Kreuzer.
I collect coins and tokens which circulated in Africa from 18th century to 2000. I sell about 7000 illustrated world coins from http://www.avscoins.com.

I suspect this is a falsum in the past and a desire to create its existence

Hello

Herinek's catalog (published 1970) does not mention 1873 without mint mark.
Only 1873A and 1878.

Andrey, is it posible to have a copy of the Money Trend article you got the info from ?

Regards,

André
Quand l'Histoire et la Géographie se croisent sur nos pièces de monnaie ...
Money Trend publishes monthly estimates for Austrian coins (tables with prices in Euro). It could be considered a sort of a catalogue. I provided a scan of the relevant part from March 2017 issue.
Money Trend like other catalogues also does not state that 1873 without A officially exist. Any Kreuzer 1873 without A is not a coin, it's just a fake (piece of junk in other words) made from Kreuzer 1878. That's what could be deducted from information on line 4 from the bottom of the scan I provided.
I collect coins and tokens which circulated in Africa from 18th century to 2000. I sell about 7000 illustrated world coins from http://www.avscoins.com.
