Found in pocket change...1994 D Quarter looks to have some doubling and possibly an extra leaf. Any thoughts are appreciated.

could you please try to make the same images from a "normal" quarter 1994D and put them next to each other, please, then it's easier to see the differences....

I do agree, there is some doubling, but where would the eventual extra leaf be situated?

Sure does, but I cannot find an explanation to that extra "leaf" at all. The doubling can happen, but the leaf is a mystery.....
