I was wondering if anyone agrees this is a Doubled Die also what grade it might be. Thanks Ed

when dies get 'tired' by use, the sometimes get a 'recut'.
I think that is the case here, because the dots on the rim are also ticker then on the other coin.
(I can be wrong of course)

That is a very good observation and makes sense. Thank You. Any opinion on grade? Ed

I also think it's a doubled die. A die recut doesn't explain the doubling of the "1".
This is the diagram I use to check Doubled Dies. I thought I saw some notches. Any idea what the coin would grade? Ed
