I recently purchased a 1934 Soviet China dollar Y# 513 with large, decorative solid stars. I bought it on eBay for a whopping $1.32 and free postage from China. The coin rings like silver when dropped and passed the ice test with flying colors. It weighs 26.2 grams and has a diameter of 39.7 mm. It is 2.7 mm thick and has a reeded edge.
According to Krause the coin has a catalog value of at $500 USD in VG8 condition. Any info would be appreciated. These are pics of the actual coin. https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces22445.html
Thanks for the quick response. Besides the fact that I didn't pay anything for the coin, what makes it a replica.
No need to respond to that question. I found a highly detailed photo of an original and the sickle and hammer are completely different from the one I have. If there was silver used in the replica do you think there is any value there.
