Italian States PAPAL STATES-PERUGIA 5 Baiocchi KM# 8 1797 XXIII [opgelost]

Hi everyone,
i have found a nice 5 Baiocchi from Italy and have narrowed it down to KM 8 on NGC - however one thing that is different is the weight - stated at a whopping 40g of copper. My coin weighs 16.6g!
Because of the weight I checked out most of the Papal States 5 Baiocchi - some have weights between 17-22g and others are 40g - however I couldn't find any dimensions for any of the coins.

Does anyone have similar coins of such weight? Or catalog with actual size and thickness?

The other thing I thought was maybe it was re-struck over a 2&1/2 Baiocchi - this might explain the weight?

The CNI (Corpus Nummorum Italicorum) Vol. 15 reports 28 varieties CNI# 24 - 51 with weight 7.10g - 17.55g and size 30 -31mm.
