Ancient? Seller guessed maybe Roman [opgelost]

This was in the bargain bin at one of the local dealers. Is it too worn to identify?
approx 1 cm and 1.4 grams
The previous owner had labelled the 2x2 "Roman?"

Thanks!
Hello,

It is Roman, later 4th─early 5th century.

I can't read the name of the emperor on the obverse, but playing with angles of light and comparing the head with other coins of the period, he should be easy to identify.

The reverse is the very common "vota" type. I think I can read/guess:

VOT
X
MVLT
XX

Here too, trying to read at different angles should make it possible to read the whole thing, including the mint mark at the bottom (note that the 3rd pic is upside down).

I think it's probably Arcadius (Eastern Emperor 383-408}: DN ARCADIVS PF AVG . The letters C-A-D behind the head are reasonably clear.
Wow. You guys are really good at this. Thanks!!!!!
