There are some with date 1902 or 1908 with "EDUARDUS"
A scan of your token would be welcome

thanks again frenchlover for your quick response , will send a picture as soon as i can , thanks for interest looks just like the ones you have noted but why 1900? and why not in english? ,
A lot of 'older' coins have writing in Latin. England used a lot of Latin.
I do not know exactly when Latin was abandoned, but it was well into the 20th century.

hi this is mozza from south africa , still puzzled about this token as Victoria passed in May 1901 and date of token is 1900 with Eduardus V11 , have managed photos , can anyone shed light on what it is please

Hi Mozza, I would say what you have here is a piece of custom jewellery based on the British crown of the early 1900's such as
http://www.bidorbuy.co.za/item/29064496/EDWARDVS_VII_D_G_BRITT_OMN_REX_F_D_IND_IMP_TOKEN_1900.html
and hence the error regarding the date as close enough was probably good enough!

Hello
I'm out of the house so I do not have the size and weight of the jewelry-token I think 14 mm and it's gilded
Just for an idea
