Hello,
More help for a beginner if possible.
I am having difficulty in identifying some of my coins as I cannot find them in the Standard Catalogue of World Coins which I thought was comprehensive. I have a Solomon Islands set which I cannot trace in this catalogue although they are listed in the Numista catalogue but without KM numbers.
Also I have a Channel Islands Golden Age of Steam set which I cannot find anywhere. Are these genuine coins?
Any help would be appreciated.
Pictures would help. Dates, denominations....
You should know that Krause is not very accurate, specially the last editions. Too many errors....
I quit using them because of that.

Thank you

KM# are found in the Krause-Mishler catalogue by George S. Cuhaj. There are different magazines and I think, he may have found this in the desired one.

These are the only six of those 24 in Krause (edition 2017), so these all have a KM# number:

These are also the only six which are in Gerhard Schön's Welt Münzkatalog (edition 2016).

Did you check all the dates of those series of 24? Because from that same series "Battleships" there are also 7 coins (in Krause and Schön) dated 2005.

These are not the correct KM# numbers, all these are the KM# numbers for the copper-nickel issues.
Here are the correct KM# numbers for the 6 Jersey silver issues:

Here are the 6 coins from Alderney from this series:

Krause says the last three coins are dated 2005, but Schön says these are dated 2004 too.

And then we also have 6 coins from Guernsey from the same series:

The last 4 silver issues are in Schön but not yet in Krause, only the copper-nickel issues are there.
Here are the copper-nickel issues. The silver issues will get an "a" after the KM# number as soon as they will be in Krause.

Thank you for all your help - it is a little more complicated than I thought but I am learning!
Thanks again
