Why didn't you submit it to MPCC? :(

Only allowed 1 medal for Exonumia. I had a choice of 3, but was happy with my choice :(

Sorry for the bad picture, it's the best I could do with my mobile. I don't have any more 17th century coins, at least not pre-1615 with dates on them, but I do have some 16th century ones I'll post if we reach that. :)
I collect and deal in ancient Roman coin. In case you're looking for affordable ancient coins or need any help with the coins you already have send me a message.
Kudos to whoever keeps updating the date gimmick in the title so I don't have to, I suspect it's either ZacUK or oggy. :O
Thanks! That would be me; I changed it this morning for example to 1615. :)

I didn't know a year can be reserved... if so I will like to keep 1607 reserved as it will be the last opportunity for me to post a coin :)

1611 - County of Roussillon, a menut :

I guess I'm posting the most damage coin of this trade.
Most of the details are worn away... but we can recognise the type by the lettering (name of the ruler) and what is left of the coin. The only date possible here is 1611 : we can barely see it in the field of the reverse side :°

Hi Casstaylor, I start having difficulties to open the thread. As mentioned above somewhere, would it be possible to split the thread, maybe starting at 1599 ? Thanks.

I can't open this thread reliably on my Android tablet, but it's still OK on the desktop (using Chrome).

i can still open it on my phone but it's really slow and take like 3% of my battery.. :P
maybe it's better to delete all posts until the 1700's..i'm nlt a fan of creating new threads to follow all the time..and then new people will still post here a little now and then wich will be very confusing..
Yes, I've thought about that, I agree with ngdawa that creating a new thread is going to be pretty confusing, but maybe its also true that for some people this thread is getting hard to load. Maybe I'll start a new thread from 1590? This will give us some time to decide if opening a second thread is best.
Hello,
If you make it very clear, with a good title and a clear end to this one (mark it as solved), give link to new one, etc, there should be no confusion.
