The 1961SA 50C isn't colonial though. In May 61 South Africa renounced the queen and seceded from the commonwealth (it rejoined in the 90's!) - The 'ENDRAG MAAK MAG' tag is a nationalist one coming from the Boer Republics and heavy dutch influence. It's noticably absent in the colonial period. This also makes the 1960 5s/crown you have interesting, as it's 'celebrating' 50 years of the unity and parliament, whilst espousing the nationalist sentiment. A year later they broke up with the queen, leaving her in tears. Go figure
