This is the coin. Sorry for the bad picture but my current phone has a really bad camera. I've found this on numist but there seems to be a difference when it comes to the design, and it can be seen clearly in the second photo I posted.

So, I'd really appreciate and exact ID and value on this coin. I've found 2 or 3 versions of it on ngc, but none seem to be the right ones. I'd also appreciate a link to a ngc page since I would like to know its value.
99% chance it's a copy. Check if it's made in silver (sound test, ice-cube test)

It's silver. What would make you think it is a copy though?
1) These dragon coins are very often copied.
2) Characters on your coin are not precise, not well defined. It's a characteristic of copies
3) And ... it's not an usual province!

Since the 17th century, Manchuria has been divided into three provinces. The 3 eastern provinces 東三省.
You can read " 三省 " on the coin referenced on Numista ("made in 3 provinces" ; the 4 top characters of the obverse face)
Provinces:
- Jilin (Kirin) 吉林
- Heilongjiang 黑龙江
- Liaoning 辽宁
- Fengtian 丰田镇
Nothing corresponding to your coin.
There are some hypothetics issues of special wording trial coins that are discussed on specialized forums and some forgers like to make fakes of these rarities.:°

But I'm not a specialist of these coins, so my assertion might be contradicted, so as usual we can add:
Until proven otherwise:D

I have a nice collection of these replica copies.
The details are to crude.
And I agree with frenchlover.
That it could be silver is no guarantee it is real.

Petrus and Frenchlover are both absolutely right; I am 100% sure that this coin is a fake.

The obverse shows 'Manchurian Provinces' but the Chinese characters on the reverse indicate it's from Kweichow (Guizhou) Province, a common mistake made by forgers who don't know to match the province names in both languages.

Add to that the bland details on the characters and the common counterfeiting of these coins and well, it's not looking very good.
