Mystery British north Borneo Trial Silver Dollar? [opgelost]

I came across this silver dollar (trial ?) coin with the British North Borneo coat of arms, and the Islamic date '1172' on it (1759). This should not be possible as British North Borneo was founded in 1888, and the first coins were made only in 1882.



I was wondering if anyone who can read Malay in the Arabic script could tell me about the reverse of the coin?
Perhaps there is more information there.

Also mentions that its 'undated', so maybe the 1759/AH 1172 date is meaningless?
