I was messing with a Morgan Dollar, 1893 AU. I put it in the microwave, and it's all burnt, lol.
I am that serb. xd
How old are you now? :)
probably 14 with the mental age of 5 ... just take a stroll through his steam page if you dare and you will get what he is ;)
Ha a forum troll, what else do you mean?
Taking a break from swapping for a while, but still interested in pre 1799 Spanish coins, I will make time for that!

Who ends a sentence with "lol" as in the context of laugh out loud?

I'd be really glad if I burnt a Morgan Dollar.

Use sarcasm the right way you should.
I haven't read one serious post from this member yet...
Since coins are round and have no pointy edges, the effects of putting then in a microwave would be minimal.

he does seem to receive highly valuable and rare coins for free, but he doesn’t have any photos of them.....

He's just a kid, guys, go easy. Even if his posts are immature, at least he hasn't been actually trolling like some of our other beloved characters. ;)

And Subha, I don't think you should be doing any fingerpointing here, unless you'd care to verify your ownership of those nice Antioch deniers in your collection, or this coin:

...of which you claim to be the only owner of on Numista?

Maybe it's time for numista to grow up, and have separate access levels for serious collectors and others ? I've been visiting this site for several years, and quality has dropped with increasing members. I turned down almost every swap proposal I've had the last years, just because I don't want to get ripped of. The main reason I'm staying here is because of the very complete and easy use catalog system.
But it may be just me that's thinking that way.

I kind of agree, but the whole access level stuff would be a ton of work!

I don't think it would be that difficult : just setting some parameters. Full access only for members who proved "worthy", so maybe taking into account (real) postings, swap evaluations, adding to the catalog, ... New members can get access by getting "invited" by those full members. Something like that.
