I collect coins of the world, mainly from 1945 to-date.
Almost all my coins come from circulation or dealers
bulk/junk boxes, on average for $1 or less.
I got into world coin collecting due to my young nephew.
He wanted some coins for a present last Christmas and I
bought him a bulk lot on our 'favourite' web auction.
Just had to look through them, as you do and got hooked.
Nearly finished loading my collection on Numista and then will
list my duplicates. Hope to do get into swapping in due course.
Thanks
Gordon
Collect what you like and like what you collect.
Remember you are only the custodian of you collection, its only yours for your lifetime.
Good to see another fellow Brit joining the site. If you enjoy yourself here half as much as I have over that last 6 years and more, you will be doing well. If you ever find yourself in the Bloomsbury area, there is a cracking coin show at the Holiday Inn, I think it is, and you can lose yourself for hours looking round the stalls and rummaging through the bargain bins.
Just because you can't see it ... doesn't mean it isn't there - Anon.
