Hello,
I have this Nepalese (Gorkhali) coin of 2 rupees but I cannot identiy the date, can anyone help to translate and depict the date?

Any help will be appreciated.
Kind regards
Subha
Hi ! Nepalese numerals are hard to read, because they vary a lot. I guess your coin is a 2058, so 2001 in my part of the world.

I'm not sure if it is 2058 or 2059, it always hard to find diference in this 2 digits.
Yes, there is also a question in that case.
The thing is the last 8 and 9 in Nepali or Gorkhali numeral looks same.

That's a great link !
2059 can be correct. Maybe somebody can show both dates ?

Yes, 2059 is correct in the Vikram Smavat Era.
The last Nepali digit looks like Nepali 8 and 9 similarly.
Inclusive, that the 9 is curved down below so it;s 2059.

Thank you both for your help!:)
You are welcome ))) Save the site I have mentioned, it is very useful for coin's dating. Originally it was on Russian only but recently author made an English version.
