I'm not so great with reading the characters, and by searching Google images, I've found no useful information. Could one of you more experienced people lend me a hand? Thanks in advance!

I see 十六年 which are symbols for 1 and 6 and Year so is 16th year. I found descriptions ...

'National Government of the Republic of China sixteen years to create one round of silver Zhou Yong industry collection'.

'China Guardian, Beijing Cheng Xuan auction company and other auction National Government of the Republic of China 16 years to create one false currency'.

'Description: In 1927 to commemorate the completion of Mr. Sun Yat-sen mausoleum cast, cast a small amount, nearly unused to completely unused'.

So you have a copy of the original rare coin. This page has information, if translated ...

Token collector [1600-1899] with some coins
I appreciate the help guys!

eazy.dog: I'm not doubting you, as I have no clue whether it's fake or not, but what was it that makes you think it is a fake? Your post makes it seem like you're pretty positive about it. I'm glad you found the exact coin page here on Numista, that helps a lot. Is there anything I can do to verify it is indeed a fake? I already checked and it's not magnetic, and the weight matches what the page you linked says. Any other tips?

*EDIT - So I see what made you reach that conclusion so quickly! Mintage of 480. I'd say that you are almost definitely correct. I guess I'm still just curious if it is silver or not. It looks and sounds like silver but I don't have any other idea on how to know for sure.

So if this is a copy of the original real coin, do you know if it was just something done by counterfeiters or was it done by a reputable source? It appears to be silver, so if it was just a copy meant to be bullion, that would be ok. I didn't pay much for it, as it came in a bulk lot of world coins I purchased, but if it is indeed silver I am more than happy.
Try a magnet.
But if non-magnetic does not mean it is real.
I agree it is a fake. I have seen a lot of replicas.
It does not look like silver.
Try some other silver tests...
