Wikimedia Commons and coins

Hello everyone,

I have written a lot of articles about coins on Wikipedia and am in the process of writing them, but if you want to use an image on Wikipedia you can only get it from Wikipedia's media source, Wikimedia Commons. I am not sure if anyone here is interested in seeing images of their coins in Wikipedia articles, but if you do you can simply upload them to Wikimedia Commons (of course you have to familiarise yourself with copyrighted currencies at Commons:Currency), and you can even set it (the default setting) that if anyone uses any of your pictures that they would have to attribute you as the author.

I really don't hope that anyone will see this message as spam, I genuinely want to inform the people here of the possibilities, I've used Numista plenty of times as a source on Wikipedia.

this image is used in several Wikipedia articles already, honestly the reason I started collecting coins was because I read about the different coins of the world on Wikipedia, and the images made me fall in love with the hobby. (^_^)​
