Thats the type of coin, if you paid less than 500 USD for it its probably a fake, if you paid more than 500 USD for it then chances are high that it is a fake.
sorry sarcastic post but be very careful with older chinese large size silver coins. Soo many fakes out there, almost only real chance to get an original one is to buy directly from reputable auction houses or to get a graded example from NGC PCGS. Also graded fakes exist but here you can veryfy with the grading number on the slabs.

Cycnos is correct, several fake types exist which do not have an authentic couterparts, some with new type of busts, some with animals such as Dragons or also vehicles such as a car on the obverse.
I hope that in future I will be able to make a nice Numisdoc which will list many and at some point maybe all copies.

In my books anything old, Chinese and silver is fake until proven otherwise thanks to the great leap forward and the uncountable "entrepreneurs" in the field of "metal works".
