Proposition

I am sure every user wants to see his coin inside a catalogue, but at this moment only one set of photos can be attached to one coin. If a coin exists in a catalogue a user can't add and see photos of his exemplar. If I am storing my collection online of course I want to see my photos.
I have a proposition:
1) Every coin in catalogue has not only 3 photos (both sides + edge) but a gallery.
2) If a user has this coin in his collection he CAN upload his photos.
3) Every uploaded photo has a tag (for example inside a name). This tag contains a UserID.
4) When a user is reading a catalogue or see a coin's card:
a) If the user owns this coin Numista shows photos of user's coin first.
b) If the user doesn't own this coin Numista shows some standard default photos.

This idea could be very useful too if a user wants to exchange his coin, because people will see a real photos of this coin.

EDIT: Moved to section Numista website - pejounet
This idea can still be better, if each photo is complemented with an indication of the grade; and this could be nice also if we go on having at most three pictures for each coin

I like the idea, however I'm not sure it can be implemented on numista : I guess the actual pictures are already using a lot of space on the server.
By adding this option, the server should allocated about 200 time more space to store the pictures of each user8~

It's nearly 2018 now. Space is ridiculously cheap! And it's just low weight pic (jpg, maybe png) anyway so that's really not a problem.

Yep. A coin is usualy quite small and its photos can't be too heavy.
