But if it is related t othe victory of General Jacques Louis Randon, it should have been issued in 1857 or 1858.

​Please do that, thanks! This token seems to be pretty rare, i didn't find anything even close. All the other algerian 1857-1858 tokens I found have dates on them, not this one. also, it seems to be made of silver.

I prefer coins for sure, but this doesn't mean I don't keep tokens. Especially silver ones.

I have just checked in the Lecompte.
This one looks a little different on both sides although the catalogue says there are differences in the legend of the reverse (which is your first picture).
With a weight of 3.5gr it should have a size of 22mm.
The catalogue also says that they are often lightly silvered.

Yes diameter is 22mm. So it is indeed a 1857-1858 propaganda token? Thanks for taking the time to research it!
