Suggestion: Drop down menu for Metal in coin editing page?

I saw this recent forum topic:

Perhaps it would be nice for there to be a drop down menu to choose the most common metals/alloys from for the 'material' section of a coin page? This would stop most differences in spelling/ wording of a material. It should also be an option to enter a custom value, for less common materials.
