Appreciation of a Rome coin dealer

As some of you may have surmised from this earlier thread I created:

I'm currently on holiday in Rome, and I asked for recommendations on coin dealers. darcymt recommended this one, which I have since visited thrice;

Filatelia Numismatica Centrale is by far, and I say this without hyperbole, the best coin dealer I have ever seen.


A perfect combination of extensive inventory, excellent customer service, and good bargains/ discounts to be had! I was able to (almost) complete my 1861-1946 Italian circulating coin and 1900-1946 banknote type set there. I highly recommend them to anyone who calls themselves a numismatist (or philatelist), and the guy running the shop, Marco is courteous, friendly and most importantly, generous in his pricing.


Stuff I purchased in Rome , mostly from Filatelia Numismatica Centrale. Some VERY good bargains to be had; I got the 1943 Italy 50 Lire and the 1940 Albanian 100 Franchi for only €10 each, and the 1943 East Africa 5 Shillings, and 1942 Italy 1000 Lire for only €30 each.

Again, please go patronise them if you're ever in Rome, specifically at No. 106 Via Due Macelli.
Now on to Madrid to see what awaits there.

I kinda enjoy poking the troll(s); now I know they're like parasites; they'll die away without the host. But they are so entertaining to spar with every so often it's become almost like a game for me to react to hamster's witty remarks.
