Tombac!

Merry Christmas to me! I know, all y'all high class big money collectors won't think much of this, well this is a really cool thing for me! I wish I could have afforded one of the '44 or 45 steels, maybe next month. Anyway, I find these really cool!

These are cheap, you can find those here for 0.5 €. What did they asked for it if you couldn't afford one?
Nice coin. From what I can see that is sailing more than catalog value now. With a large increase of Canadian coin collectors and their mint pulling all old coins and melting them. I think all Canadian coins from 1980 down are all going to go up in value in the next 5 years. Just from the fact that they are gone.
It is, what it is, or is it.

I’m also wondering what you paid for this and how much a steel is? Have you looked on eBay?
I think I have a scratched up steel one, it’s not in great shape but if you want it, it’s yours.
Taking a break from swapping for a while, but still interested in pre 1799 Spanish coins, I will make time for that!

Looking for pre 1783 coins
These 2 I paid about $3, the steels would have been another $5 or so. I guess "couldn't afford" was an overstatement, it just was more than I wanted to spend
Those look great! I love the tombac coins.

Be patient, you'll probably find these much cheaper. I wouldn't pay 5 $ either. I have 9 pieces 1944/1945 and paid between 0.25 € and 0.75 €.
