Citeer: "Cycnos"Hello,thank you for the information.regards A.
Your coin was minted at Tyre, in Syria (the big "tree shape" / "club handle" thing in the middle is the TYR monogram) and the last inscription at the bottom right is the phoenician letters for TYR.
The greek inscription ΜΗΤΡΟΠΟΛΕωΣ stand for "Metropolis" and the last greek inscription at the bottom left (HΛΣ) sould be the date (year 135 of the Caesarean or Actian era ??).
Edit :
I think it's this type of coin with a different year : http://rpc.ashmus.ox.ac.uk/coins/4/6822/
Citeer: "PetrusAscanus"http://www.wildwinds.com/coins/greece/phoenicia/tyre/t.htmlthank you for the information.regards A.
Citeer: "Cycnos"I'm noticing I made mistakes about the year :
H = 8
Λ = 30
Σ = 200
Apparently they used a special calendar (Tyrian era), so CY 238 should be AD 112/113.
