What scales (for measuring weight) do you use?

As I am turning from a novice to an amateur, please give me some advice to determine the real/fake of a coin.

Thanks!

Best regards,

look for a digital precision scale which measures weights from preferably 0.01 to 300-500 g, cheaper models will only have one decimal so you can also look at models that weigh from 0.1g.
Prices vary a lot but you often get what you pay for, in the price range of 40-200 USD you should find something good. Some good ones might be even less.
I use a precision scale from KERN that cost me around 120€

From time to time I sell some coins on Ebay make sure to follow me @apuking on Ebay.
I've seen 4 USD for 0.01 to 3 kg.

Should I trust? What is the factor for such a low cost?

I got mine at Walmart for about $10 (in the kitchen appliance section). Good to 2 decimals.

I purchased that for 10 euro more than 1 year ago and for non professional use it's OK.
