I can't tell for sure, but this bronze looks like a female? Could just be a really effeminate male...

Nothing even remotely as nice as your silvers!

It's not a lady but a man (well, maybe a boy ) : Arcadius. The portraits on late bronze roman coinage tended to be less "straight male" (even the stone portraits), especially with young emperors such as Arcadius or Honorius.

Ah, ok. Well, I tried. And thanks for the info!
Still, yours is a nice portrait for Arcadius, whose coins are rarely in good condition !

Also turntostone, you got very nice denarii !

Really? This coin was just from an ebay lot of uncleaned coins that I scraped a bunch of dirt off.

Yes. It's not the best quality but still better than the average Arcadius nummus you can get in lot. The struck is nice and the portait ok. At this time the empire (and the emperor) were quite weak, and so were the common coins.
Don't have many in my collection, aside from female deities, but here are a few:

Roman Imperial: Aelia Flaccilla (378-383 CE) AE Follis, Antioch (Sear 20616; RIC IX 61)

Obv: AEL FLAC-CILLA AVG; diademed & draped bust right
Rev: SALVS REI-PVBLICAE; Victory seated right, inscribing Chi-Rho onto shield set on column, T in right field, ANTB in exergue

Roman Imperial: Julia Domna, Augusta (193-217 CE), Rome, under Caracalla (211-215 CE) AR Denarius (RIC 379c; BMC 10; RSC 105)

Obv: IVLIA PIA FELIX AVG; draped bust of Julia Domna right
Rev: LVNA LVCIFERA; Luna driving galloping biga left

A gallery of my coins and artifacts can been seen on FORVM Ancient Coins
