1817 6 pence "C" counterstamp

If anyone could tell me what this counterstamp is that would be great.

It honestly could be any number of companies, or private individuals that decided to put a 'C' for whatever on it. There's no way of telling.
The price would not be worth much more than scrap.

I would say In this condition scrap value sadly. The C doesn’t add anything.
Taking a break from swapping for a while, but still interested in pre 1799 Spanish coins, I will make time for that!

Looking for pre 1783 coins

Too right, better condition could boost price,
I have an 1816 VF-XF coin with no countermark.
At least it is 92.5% silver even with the wear.

Edit-Oops thanks Pnightingale
