Being new here and also having made a spreadsheet of all my coins I have moved on to tokens. I am reluctant to make any posts as nobody seems to talk about them and I am never sure where or IF I can post a question or observation. I have added 13 tokens to your catalog with more to come.

You have a topic for paper money so my not a topic for tokens?

It took a long time to get a banknote section. And it is actually a little surprising that it came before a token section.

To get Numista to add banknotes (if just only as a part in the forum) is a battle that started back in 2012. The demand for a Token section hasn't been mentioned at all, from what I know of. They have always had a place in the catalogue and therefore been discussed in the regular forum.
Tokens show up all the time. One reason is that people who post their unknowns for identifications often don't even know that what they think is a coin is actually a token. By now I have seen the 1910s Istanbul 10 para ferry token coming up three or four times for identification. Likewise, a dozen "belly-dancer" tokens and Canadian colonial tokens, which I collect. I have myself posted quite a few such tokens and answered many questions about all sorts of tokens.

If we created a new section, it would be a nightmare, IMHO, since some tokens circulated as coinage, others are for specific commodities such as bread tokens, yet others are just souvenirs... And as I pointed out many times, currency tokens are much more interesting for the history of coinage and currency than the non-circulating pseudo-coins put out by the mints for a quick profit.

Since people are allowed to post about the Canadian cartoon "coins" or the African marijuana "coins", you're certainly welcome to post on any tokens!

I'm sure tokens can share with coins

Hello,
same as for the stamps forum, this proposal will be added to next admin meeting agenda for discussion. But 100% chances it will be rejected as there is no plan to add more forums for now.

Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.
Because tokens are cataloged and traded using the site they are accepted subject matter for the existing forums. At least I have never seen any question or resistance to token related threads in several of the existing categories and they seem to be fairly common.
