Citeer: "Vixon Joyce"Yes, but this is about the French euros :') and how you/French citizens felt about them coming into use and the removal of the Franc.
I have many pre-euro coinage and as an outsider I'd prefer franc as it has a better historical significance.
Please tell us the results at the end!

The adoption and acceptance of the euro varied widely from one country to another.
In the Netherlands, we made a rapid shift: although a period of 'dual pricing' of one year was officially advocated, many companies stopped giving the NLG equivalents just a few months after conversion. General consumer discontent had it that prices had risen drastically with or after the switch, and these complaints held on for many years Several studies were undertaken to find support for this consumer feeling, but none of them revealed any significant rise in consumer prices which could be linked to the introduction of the euro.
In France, companies and shops continued dual pricing of their products for many years after conversion, with some of them continuing the practice till this very day.
If in the Netherlands, someone says today that he has bought his house back then for so-and-so-many-thousand guilders, this is commonly accompanied by drawing a face suggesting that that was also the time when dinosaurs used to roam in the garden.

Hi, yeah it won't let me post, saying it's already been posted "Ce message a déjà été posté." If perhaps someone can copy and paste it and post it for me, then I could follow it? Perhaps?

Hi,
That is because you wanted to post it with exactly the same subject.
Try to change it a little bit and you will be able to post it on the French site.
