I have a quick question regarding the 50 Chon minted by the DPRK in 1978, I have seen there are variants listed as Capitalist Visitor, Socialist Visitor, and People's Republic. Are there any notable differences with these coins or where/how they were distributed? I have a standard 50 Chon coming in next week and am very excited to expand the collection!
Citeer: "ngdawa"It was probably to distinguish who wa who, and make it easier to track them. I have a few banknotes too I can show you later according this.
I've managed to accumulate a decent amount of banknotes myself but I know very little about them. Are there also variations in paper currency?

Yes, the 1978 series has 5 different types. I'm in school now but I have all types of the 10 won, so I can show you.
In 1988 there was two different series circulating side by side, one capitalist visitors serie and one socialist visitors serie.
