Shouldn’t we include stamps in the banknote forum?
Seems better there than anywhere else.
Taking a break from swapping for a while, but still interested in pre 1799 Spanish coins, I will make time for that!

Looking for pre 1783 coins
No. No. No. With very few exceptions stamps are not numismatic items. Banknotes are.

Nope, sorry.
Oklahoman is right
Banknote forum was created for banknotes, not stamps; Free discussion forum is still there.

Didn't we have this discussion a few weeks ago?

Yeah and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that and before that.

You get the picture...

P.S. Slightly excessive

Voilá!

Here it is.

Repeating what I said there as well, I wouldn't be heartbroken with no stamps forum but it would be interesting to have.

Yes, maybe a little bit :O
Users have been talking about stamps on Numista forums since I got here, like it or not.

In fact, Numista got me started on collecting stamps. The superior swapping feature here gave me a ready supply of foreign stamps, and I started saving them. We are exchanging more than coins.
Can't even use the swap feature to exchange numismatic items like banknotes...how the heck would you swap stamps?

As far as I know sometimes swaps have bonus stamps included in the same way that one might throw in a couple of low-value coins for free as a gift.

Besides, I'm sure users who really wished to could (and probably already have before) used PMs and the forum to exchange banknotes, stamps, if not more items outside coins unofficially.

Sometimes you see stamp swaps in the banknotes forum also

Obviously I meant the swap feature.

But you don't necessarily need the swap feature to exchange something between two people, hence the answer to your question on how we would swap stamps.
...nevermind...

I don't even agree with stamps being on the 'additions to my collections' thread.

It's a numismatic forum.

.
exactly!

you guys kinda went crazy on me....
y’all are talking like I was suggesting setting up swaps for stamps,
I just want to get them organized and I was thinking of getting them OUT of the free discussion forum. They fit better in the banknotes forum than anywhere else.
People haven’t stopped talking about stamps, let’s give them a place to do that....

Im sorry but it's a numismatic forum not philatelic.
Why not just do it in the swap forum? It is for swapping. I think that philately folks should handle their business on a philately site.

Next step after (stamps &) banknotes is scriptofily ('old' shares and bonds).
